As many of you will know I’ve set myself the challenge of documenting 30 days of clean eating on my Snapchat for you all. The goal is to show you that it’s possible to balance a healthy lifestyle with a busy schedule of work, life and play. And also to give you some insights and tips into how I intend on losing weight by maintaining a healthy diet alone throughout November.
My goal is to lose 3.6kg which is just over half a stone. The reason for this is because that is exactly how much I gained through a bad diet the last 2 months. Since starting a new job with a new location much further away, awful commutes, teamed with a busy few months of events, on top of study and apartment hunting – I completely lost the run of myself food wise.
Week 1 is down with a loss of 1.5kg so a great start! Well, that was actually just after 5 days because I weigh myself on Saturday mornings and log it to my app. I now have a little over 2kg to go. As mentioned I use the Weightdrop app to track my progress
Many of you have been screenshotting my snaps throughout the week and sending me such lovely messages telling me I’m your inspiration and motivation. But it’s your words of encouragement that motivate me! Here are just some of the lovely comments I receive daily, and I reply to every single one and help where I can!
My plan for the week was 5 small meals a day – smoothie, breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. Eating every 3-4 hours. Also taking Vitamin D, Zinc and Multivitamins. Anything cooked is fried in Coconut Oil. And opt for Gluten Free and Dairy free where possible. I have some tips to get you started here, and there’s plenty of info in the My Health Corner section too! Below is what I ate and documented on Snapchat!

This was my detox week, I ate little and often, enough to sustain a busy lifestyle that has no exercise other than the daily walk in my commute to work. This is just what works for me, I can’t ensure this will work for everyone. I was very happy with the 1.5kg weightloss after 5 days.
