I teamed up with SEVENTEEN Cosmetics and Boots to go to Longitude festival at the weekend complete with a fun festival look! My lovely friend and fellow blogger Grace also came along and we both had a full face of SEVENTEEN to try out for the day. I got to find out about some products that I wasn’t familiar with already and the makeup artist also applied some of my favourite bits! Here was my look for the day, full product details below!
- Skin WOW Primer / Illuminator
- Stay Time Concealer in Fair
- Miracle Matte Loose Powder
- Define and Conquer Contour Kit
- Instant Glow Shimmer Brick
- Brows That Brow Kit
- Eyeshadow Mono in Magenta as a Blush and Purple under the eye
- Wet Look Lacquer Eye Liner
- Stay Pout Lipstick in Just a Fling
- Miracle Matte Pressed Powder
- Gel Colour nail polish in Mint Bon Bon
A lot of the above products were very multi functional! Eyeshadow used as Blusher, Shimmer Brick as highlighter and as an eyeshadow, and I even used it on my legs! Brow kit shades were also used on eyes, the bronzing powder as a transition shade on eyes. Perfect if you want to bring a minimal amount of makeup to the festival in your bag! I’m a lover of multi-functional products so I was delighted when the makeup artist was filling me in on each of the bits as she applied them!
The price point on the SEVENTEEN range are really good too, very affordable! I could find nothing from the range that was over €10 and some of their makeup is as little as €1.50! You really can’t afford not to have some of their essentials in your makeup drawer!
Here’s a photo of some of the SEVENTEEN products the makeup artist Sue Brophy used on us!
And here are my own personal faves from the brand that I requested to be used! If you follow me on Snapchat you will have seen me recommend these before! Sorry for how overused and grubby the Instant Glow Tan Cream Bronzer looks I’ve had it ages it lasts so long! The Instant Glow Shimmer Brick and Skin WOW Tan are ideal for a bronzed up look!
We were brought to Longitude in vintage style in a cute VW Camper van, I wanted to keep it!
We were given survival kits for our time there too, some of which came in very handy throughout!
The weather was a little annoying, one minute it was sunny, the next it was lashing rain! After a shower or two we luckily found a seat at a table with a large umbrella so was able to duck for cover most of the time!
I forgot port a loos weren’t the most hygienic but these were definitely a saviour!! Some antibacterial wipes and Soap and Glory Handfood – love the smell of this stuff!
I ended up in the Longitude Lounge later in the afternoon which was an area of total comfort and plenty of seating and hammocks – with actual bathrooms instead of port a loos which was a nice change!
I’d like to say I topped up my makeup throughout the day after being rained on so much but I didn’t need to! And one of the reasons is this..the Organic Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz! Its ingredients are made up of mostly Water, Glycerin, and Rosewater which is the main ingredients for any Setting Spray so it worked wonders! And this 18 hour Concealer didn’t budge on me either – for at least 12 hours when I got home and took it off!
I love Hozier so he was definitely the highlight of my day – even though it was a long and cold wait for him!! I wore a playsuit from Topshop, a kimono from Oasis, neck piece from Aldo and bag from Parfois!
And how lovely was it of these ladies to post on Instagram after meeting us at the festival!
Thanks so much to SEVENTEEN cosmetics for the gorgeous makeup look, the cool transport, a fun day at Longitude and for introducing me to some new bits from their range I just have to purchase! In particular the brow kit and contour kit! I’m also loving the nail polish I wore – I still have it on as I type this and not one chip! I didn’t even apply a top or base coat which I normally always do!
Any questions on any of their range do let me know in the comments below or drop me an email!
