Damn those River Island emails!! One popped into my inbox with the title ‘They’re backkk..’ and i just knew whatever it was I would just have to buy it! I like that River Island will bring back popular items again though. I recently picked up their longline lace bralet when they brought it back too, I was devastated when I missed out the first time after featuring it in my November wishlist!
Knee high boots are a staple to have in your wardrobe – especially with Irish weather because they can be worn almost all year round! I have a suede knee high heeled pair I’ve had for about 8 years and could never find something to replace them with, still haven’t! But these are a great casual replacement, I just wish I could fid them in heeled form because mine have seen better days! I don’t own any kind of cleated platform shoe / boot it’s just not entirely my style but when I tried these on I just had to have! They are so flattering on the leg! I wore them to a recent event and got nothing but compliments so I was delighted.
I’m pretty sure they’re quite popular so if you want to get your hands on them then get to your local River Island store before they’re gone again! They’re a steal at only €80 and super comfy.
I wore my Black Cleated Platform Knee Boots with a pair of skinny jeans, black & rose gold t shirt from Zara, my fitted faux leather jacket from River Island, my Michael Kors Travel Tote, and my Alex and Ani bangles! Simple look to take me from an event to a spot of shopping with the girls! – I also had my Irish Rugby jersey in my bag to change into for the 6 Nations Ireland match later that day!
